Mrs. Emma Pilgram Boke, 83, of 808 E.
Fifth St., died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday
at Muscatine general hospital, after
a short illness.
She was a life resident of Muscatine,
born Feb. 14, 1882, the daughter of
Adam and Elizabeth Pilgram.
She was married Dec. 17, 1902, at Mus-
catine, to Frank E. Boke.
Surviving are a son-in-law, LeRoy
Hoffmaster of Davenport; one grandson;
two brothers, Fred Pilgram of Murdock,
Kansas, and Walter Pilgram of Muscatine;
three sisters, Mrs. Matilda Vetter and
Mrs. Elsie Leu, both of Muscatine; and
Mrs. Lucy Clapper of Detroit, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her par-
ents, husband, one daughter and four
brothers.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the George M. Wittich funeral home.
Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery.
