ELDER, ADELIA L. (FULTON) - Born September 17, 1922 in Navarro Co., TX to Laura (Green) Fulton and Edward Christian Fulton. Passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Austin, TX. Ms. Elder graduated from Blooming Grove High School, Blooming Grove, TX. She went to work in Dallas as Secretary where she met the love of her life, Raymond H. Elder. They were married May 6, 1944. Mr. and Mrs. Elder had two stepsons, Ray Keith and David; and daughter, Emma Chris. Preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, three brothers, her husband, Raymond Elder, her son, Ray Keith Elder, her daughter, Emma Chris (Elder) Lloyd, her son-in-law, Cyrus Lloyd along with her step daughter-in-law, Mary Elder. Survived by son, David Elder; grandson, David Elder, Jr. and wife Gina; granddaughter, Donna Allen; five great-grandchildren, Josh, Charles, Audra, McKayla and Ethan; two great-great-grandchildren, Korbin and Penlope along with numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Restland. Services will be held on September 13, 2012 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Elder was a lifelong member of The First Baptist Church of Dallas and was very active in helping establishing Missions on the Mexican Border. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the many staff members of Arden Courts Assisted Living facility in Austin, TX, the staff members of Senior Sitters of Austin, TX and the Odyssey Hospice staff members in Austin, TX.
