Mr. Widger is the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth {Henderson} Widger of Cass Twp, Illinois, and she is the daughter of Mr. Nathan T. & Mrs. Catherine {Larkins} Henderson of the same area, and the father of three sons, Clarence A., Thomas E., and James Widger, and four daughters, Mrs. Ida C. Cameron, Miss Bertha, Miss Leona, and Miss Ella.
He served with Co H & D in the 5th Iowa Infantry as well as Co F 5th Iowa Calvary
