She grew up in Fillmore county and graduated from Geneva high school in 1923.
She was married to James G. Demaree, March 26, 1926, at Salina, Kas. To this union were born two sons, Donn Max of Topeka, Kas. and James Lee of Junction City, Kas.
She was a resident of Minneapolis, Kas. for 25 years. She was a member of the United Methodist church there.
Mrs. Demaree was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Survivors include two sons, Donn Max and James Lee, one grandson, Donn Allen and one granddaughter, Jamie Kay; and one brother, Floyd Myers of Fleming, Col.
Funeral services were held at the Minneapolis United Methodist church September 6 and at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva September 7.
William Kinder sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “How Great Thou Art,” accompanied by Mrs. Melvin Olson, pianist.
Pallbearers were Cecil Fox, Derrel Hutchens, Don Hutchens, Verle Myers, Vorus Myers and Vaden Myers.
