MRS. E. LONGWAY DIES IN HOSPITAL
End Comes After Operation for Appendicitis; Was Well Known.


Mrs. Ernest L. Longway, age 24, well known woman, wife of Mr. Longway, prominent contractor and builder, 911 Washington avenue, died in St. Joseph's hospital at 10:45 o'clock Friday morning following two operations for appendicitis within a period of six weeks. Peritionitis developed which resulted in her death.

She was born in Garrett, Ind., Feb. 18, 1906 and came here from Fort Wayne, Ind., three years ago. As Miss Rosina Allmon she was married to Ernest L. Longway, who survives with two children, Betty Jane and Milton E. Longway. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Daniel Allmon, one brother, Charles H. Lahrnbeck and a sister, Mrs. Vera Koske, of Fort Wayne, Ind., who are here to attend the funeral.

The body may be viewed at the Coats funeral home until the time of the funeral which will be held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock in the Seventh Day Adventist church, St. Joseph street and Ewing avenue, South Bend. Elder B. J. White will be in charge of the services. Burial will take place in Garrett, Ind.
