1926-2012

Maysville…….Ellen Rosetta Rogers, age 86, the daughter of Charles & Vidah (Warner) Bingham was born August 11, 1926 in Osborn and passed away September 4, 2012 in Maysville.

On July 20, 1946 Ellen and Vernon Rogers were united in marriage in Troy, Kansas. To this union five children were born. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maysville, Hedge Extension Club, Rural Letter Carrier Axillary, DAV Axillary, and taught 4-H Classes. Ellen enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dixie Dee West; and son-in-law, Tom Neet.

Survivors include Katherine Ann Neet, Grandview, Charles Daniel Rogers (Lois), Osborn, Ronald Wayne Rogers (Joyce), Maysville, Larry Gene Rogers (Kim), Marshfield, Paul Douglas Rogers (Deborah), Peculiar; sister, Wilma Robinson, Salado, TX; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Bram-Turner Funeral Home, Maysville with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
