David (Dave) Eugene Bristlin, 82, of Coon Rapids, passed away on September 2, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital in Coon rapids. Funeral services for David were held on Saturday, September 8, 2012, 11:00 am., at the Iten Funeral Home in Clarissa with Pastor Melissa Ehrhardt officiating. Interment was held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Bertha.
David was born on August 8, 1930, in Bertha to Albert & Maud Bristlin. He served in the Army National Guard and was in the Coon Rapids Police Reserve for 20 years.
David is survived by his children: Steve (Diana) Bristlin, Jeff (Lisa) Bristlin, Vicki (Steve) Bristlin; siblings: DuWaine (LaVonne) Bristlin, Shirley (Bob) Dvorak, Sandy (Al) Arnold and Kathleen (Herman) Wiese; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents; brother Gordon Bristlin and special friend Eileen Blake.
