Bill, 65, was born in the San Luis Valley to Damacio and Isabel (Medina)
Gallegos, graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1961, and married Theresa
Rael on June 16, 1963. He worked for Hi-Shear as a machinist from 1961-1971 and
for Sundstrand Aviation in Colorado from 1971-1991. He was a member of St.
Augustine Catholic Church, and had lived in Brighton since 1973 and been a
member of the K of C since 1999. Bill loved being around his family and helping
those around him. He enjoyed restoring old cars, loved church and had undying
faith in God. He was hard working and always busy. He was a jack of all trades
and worked to learn more. Survivors included his wife Theresa; daughter Estella
(Tim) Martinez of Brighton; son Gabriel (Debbie) Gallegos of Northglenn; sister
Lorraine (Ron) Befort of Aurora; grandchildren Melinda, Caleb, Jacob, Adam,
Gabriel, Daisi and Kelli; and great-grandchildren Isaiah, Alysa, Adaisia and
Elijah. He was preceded by his parents, brother Gilbert and son Randy. Mass of
Christian Burial held December 18 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton.
