"Boone Way Man" Loses His Wife
Mrs. James Curry Maret, 81 years old, wife of Col. Jim Maret, the "Boone Way Man," died Sunday afternoon at her residence 507 Oldham avenue, Lexington. Col. Maret has many friends in Harrodsburg.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Maret is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Powell and Mrs. Elwood Tindle; one son, James Curry Maret, all of Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. W. M. Watson, Mrs. Susan Bealert and Mrs. P. Tetro, all of Lexington, and three brothers, William Tankersley, Louisville; Robert Tankersley, Lexington, and Ross Tankersley, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service was Monday afternoon. Funeral service was Monday afternoon with burial in Richmond cemetery.
