Dennis Edward Meierotto, 48, of Fort Madison died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012.

Born July 22, 1964, in Fort Madison, he was the son of Alvin and Mary Margaret "Margie" Coster Meierotto. He married Patti McKeown.

Mr. Meierotto worked for many years as a supervisor at ISC in Burlington. He also was a truck driver and worked construction. He was a 1982 graduate of Fort Madison High School.

He was of the Catholic faith. He liked hunting, grilling, playing basketball and hunting mushrooms.

Survivors include Patti Meierotto of Wever; his parents of Fort Madison; one son, Joshua Meierotto of Wever; two daughters, Lindsey Meierotto and Kayla Meierotto, both of Wever; four brothers, Daniel Meierotto of Wever, Brian Meierotto of Montrose, Patrick Meierotto of Marion and James Meierotto of Fort Madison; two sisters, Deborah Mapes of Montrose and Carol Glasgow of West Point; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one nephew.
