Stephen Theodore Ferjanec Jr, at the age of 92, of Forestbrook, South Carolina. Steve was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II, on board the USS Leonard Wood. He was the son of the late Stephen Theodore Ferjanec Sr. and Kate (Gulesck) Ferjanec, who both immigrated from Hungary. Steve was a mechanical engineer before his retirement. He died at Conway Hospital on Sunday, October 27, 2002 following an illness. He is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny" Ferjanec. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2002, 4 p.m., at Southeastern Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, officiated by Reverend Bo Stalcup. Memorial donations are appreciated to Alzheimer's Association, c/o Ardis Executive Offices, 1010 5th Avenue, N., Suite 101, Room 1, Surfside Beach, SC 29575. Arrangements entrusted to McMillan-Small Funeral Home and Crematory, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
