He was born in Dry Fork, Tucker County on March 19, 1864, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. N. J. Pennington.
His wife the former Lucretta Pennington died 10 years ago.
He is survived by the following children, Boyd, Thomas, Seymour, Finley, Burley, and Raymond of Dry Fork.
One brother, Howard of Bayard also survives. Services were conducted by the Rev.. Daniel C. Spaid of Eglon with interment in the Flanagan Cemetery.
