Birth date on stone is likely not correct. It is probably 1872 because Sidney was age 2 in June 1875 on the image for the New York State Census. His Brother Harry Lamont, verified birthday of 8 April 1874, was 1, which calculates correctly. The difference calculates to Nov 1872, but WW I Draft Reg reflects Sep 6, 1874, which also is an error in the birth year.
