James P. King and Emma Bosley were married on Dec. 13, 1872, in Bracken Co., KY; known children: William N., Lloyd, John, Otis, Luther H., Peter, and Mary(Harrington).

Obituary:
James Parker King, a veteran of the civil war, died early yesterday morning at the family home, 1134 Eliza street, following an illness due to a complication of diseases, coming at the age of eighty-nine years. He had been sick for the past two months.

Mr. King had resided in Fort Wayne since December 17, 1915, coming from Brown county, O. Surviving besides the widow are six sons - William, of this city, L.H., LLoyd, John and Odas, of Brown county, O., and Luther, of Kentucky; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Harrington, of this city. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church.

The Wayne circle No. 45, Ladies of the G.A.R. will hold flag services at the residence Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
