Elizabeth Virginia Creasy Cooper, 94 of Thaxton, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on Monday, March 27, 1916 in Bedford Co., VA, a daughter of the late Walter Creasy and Elizabeth (Betty) Stevens Creasy . She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Aaron Bramlett & Leonard Cooper as well as three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Elsie B. Board & husband, James of Thaxton, a grandson, Randy Board & wife, Debbie; three great grandchildren, Jason Board; Jeffrey Board & wife, Kristen; Jennifer Jayne & husband, Jesse, seven great great grandchildren; a brother, William Henry Creasy of Moneta. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Harry Leland officiating. Interment will follow in the Bramlett Family Cemetery. Friends may call Friday after 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at
