"Services will be Tuesday at 2:30p.m. in Finley's Rose chapel for Mrs. Annie M. Asbury, 6429 S.E. Clinton Street, who died Sunday. She was the wife of Isaac A. Asbury, with whom she celebrated their 60th [sic] wedding anniversary last January 1. Commitment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Asbury was born at DeSoto, Wis., December 3, 1864, and came to Portland with her husband in 1912."
"For many years she was an active member of the White Temple Baptist church. She was an active member of Beaver chapter, No. 106, Order of Eastern Star, in Beaverton."
"Surviving, beside the widower, are a daughter, Mrs. Vera Cox, Portland; son, W.A. Asbury, Sheridan; Brother, Dr. J. E. Stevenson, Brookings; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
