Lucille "Lucy" Adcock, 78, of Denton, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. Mrs. Adcock was born on December 31, 1933 in Denton County, TX to Harman and Alice Belcher. She was married to Nelson "Buddy" Clinton Adcock in 1949 in Denton, he died on November 29, 2011. She was a member of the Methodist church and had been a cashier for Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store for several years.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Adcock of Aubrey, Clinton Adcock of Denton; sister-in-law, Lucy Belcher of Sanger; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ray Adcock.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Virgil Aldag will officiate the service. Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
