FORBES, CORDELIA M.—At the home of her niece, Mrs. L. G. Stewart, in this city at 10 a. m., Monday, May 23, 1904, Mrs. Cordelia M. Forbes, aged 78 years, 5 months and 13 days died.
Cordelia M. Snow was born in Oswego, N. Y., December 10, 1825. She moved in 1837 from New York to Kalamazoo, Mich., where she was married to Anson Forbes January 1, 1844. They removed to Missouri in 1865, thence to Nebraska in 1873.
Three sons survive the deceased, two residing in Louisiana and one in Council Bluffs.
For a long period Mrs. Forbes has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart. She united with the Baptist Church when young.
The funeral took place from the Stewart residence at 3 p.m. Tuesday and was conducted by Rev. Thomas Griffiths. The interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart desire to thank the many friends and neighbors for the sympathy and kindness shown in their bereavement.
