OLE NOSS WAS FROM DAKOTA

- In 1902/1903 Ole Noss was in the Saskatoon, Sask area and returned to North Dakota and his job at the General Store.

- In 1907 he homesteaded at Winnifred, Alberta on NE 12-12-10 and SW of 13-12-10 W4.

- On Nov 12, 1912 he married Annie Albertson, sister of Sam & Nels from Wisconsin. The Albertson's were his neighbours in Winnifred.

- In 1924 Ole & Annie farmed 1.5 miles east of the community. In 1927 they moved into town.

CHILDREN both lived in Lethbridge in 1969:

Merle Noss - an electrician with 2 children

Norman Noss - a postman with 5 children
