Emma Bourassa was born in Sudbury Canada, moved to United States 1919 with her husband and son. Lived in Denver then Indian Hills Colorado where she and her husband, Joseph E. Appleton (Appelqvist, Applequist) built their home. Moved to Petaluma California 1964 to be near her daughter Dorothy M Gosnell (Gerhards). Rented a home on G Street then purchased a home at 40 Avery Way. She died the night after she moved into this home. Joseph moved in with his daughter and died November 1966.
