She was born April 17, 1924, in Menominee, MI.
Married in 1947, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle W. Burt. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Mary E. Breen; daughter Julie Burt; and son Lyle W. Burt Jr.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Barbara Burt, Patti Burt and Nancy Rumple; three granddaughters and four great-grandsons.
Burial will take place promptly at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, at Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at the family home in Davidsonville beginning around noon.
