-- ROCK HILL Ms. Audrey Faye Broome Rockholt, 68, of Rock Hill, S.C., passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill.
A memorial service for Ms. Rockholt will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, with the Rev. Gerald Bennett officiating. Burial will be private.
A native of York County, S.C., Ms. Rockholt was the daughter of the late Earl Broome and the late Blanche Freeman Broome. She was formerly a bartender and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Jackson; her husband, John (Rocky) Rockholt; and her sister, Theresa Broome.
Ms. Rockholt is survived by her daughter, Cindy Omer and husband, Richard of Charlotte, N.C.; her son, Kenny Leopard of Columbia, S.C.; and her brothers, Allen Broome of Rock Hill and David Broome of Lakeland, Fla.
Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Richard Omer, 16901 Youngblood Rd., Charlotte, NC 28278.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of York County, 2036 Carolina Place, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
