He was born January 7, 1879 in England, and, after 55 years residence here, moved to Ontonagon 17 years ago, where he had since lived.
Survivors are the widow; three sons, James, Kenosha, Wis.; Harold in the Army, and Orville of Pontiac; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Maclean and Mrs. Dorothy Melin, Northville, Mich. and Mrs. Phyllis Rushford, Wayne, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. William Hosking and one brother, Percy, Iron Mountain and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 tomorrow afternoon at the Erickson and Son mortuary by the Rev. Percy Lomas. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
Mr. Rule was a Spanish American war veteran.
