Mary Bowden McIntyre, a resident of Roger Mills County for over thirty-three years, died at her home here Monday morning at 9 a.m., June 13, 1938.
Mary McIntyre had been in poor health for several years and passed away at the age of eighty-nine years and eight months. She was born on October 15, 1848 in Mercer county, Ohio. She was united in marriage to Alfonzo McIntyre Feb 23, 1871, who preceded her in death four years ago, April 22nd.
To this union were born two children, Mrs. J.W. Thompson of Crawford, Okla.; and Pearl McIntyre who passed away July 28th, 1918. There are three grandchildren; Orval Thompson of Crawford, Okla.; Vern Thompson of California; and Bernice Clark, of California and eight great grand-children.
She leaves to mourn her passing: Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Thompson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Thompson and family, Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Clark and family.
Services were conducted at the Silent Home Chapel, Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Oklahoma by Rev. Veach, with Tunnard's Funeral Home, Cheyenne in charge of the interment.
