She was born Feb. 2, 1894, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Miller Carpenter.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Barnesville.
Preceded her in death were her husband, Joseph G. Johnson in 1958; a son, Douglas in 1964, a daughter Virginia in 1921 and two brothers.
She leaves three daughters, Dorothy Johnson, Margaret Johnson and Wanda Johnson, all of Barnesville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. today at Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday with the Rev. James Porter and the Rev. Don Parks officiating. Burial will be in Northern Cemetery. Monday 27 Dec. 1986 Cambridge Jeffersonian.
