Miss Alma Bowers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Bowers was born in Dexter, New Mexico October 9, 1906 and passed from this life in Los Angeles, Calif, October 18, 1927 age 21 years and 8 days. She was visiting a sister when she took pneumonia which caused her death.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church of Cheyenne Sunday afternoon. Rev Davis of Sayre delivering the sermon. The church was crowded to its capacity and several were outside. At the graveside her Sunday School class placed flowers on her casket in respect to her memory.
She had been a member of the Methodist church since eleven years of age.
She leaves her father, mother, two sisters, a nephew and a host of other relatives to mourn her untimely demise.
Burial in Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
