Cunningham, Anna, Shipp, age 82, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on August 31, 2012 at Colonial Oaks in Houston, Texas. She was born on March 29, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia to her parents, James and Anna Shipp. Anna was the youngest of five siblings. She grew up in Atlanta and her fondest memories were the summers she spent with her Great Aunts at Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana. She married Judson C. Cunningham in Atlanta on April 7, 1951 and moved to Dallas when he was transferred by Millican in 1955. She and her husband started Judson C. Cunningham Textiles and she remained in Dallas after his death in 1997 until 2005 when she moved to Houston. Anna was a member of Northway Christian Church. She enjoyed her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Anna will be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Marcia Wilson and husband Larry, of Houston, Texas; her son, Chuck Cunningham and wife, Kathleen Farrell of San Jose, California; her sister, Dell O'Barr and niece, Anna Hannibal, both of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Judson C. Cunningham.
Graveside services will be held at Restland Cemetery on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
