Dorothy Jean Roberts, 79, of Dresden, died
Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Funeral services for Mrs. Roberts were held Friday, January 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial followed in Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield. Houston Patrick officiated the services. Mrs. Roberts was a former factory worker for Halls Printing. She was born March 24, 1931 in Dresden to the late John Tatum Oliver and Hassel Underwood. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Roberts; and a daughter, Jackie Ricketts.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by a son, Gary Roberts of Martin; a daughter, Beverly (David) Oliver of Gleason; two half-sisters, Joy Adams of Dresden, and Jayne Oliver; a half-brother, Kenneth Oliver of Arkansas; a stepbrother, Tommy Williams of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
