Daughter of James Lawrence Zickafoose and Bessie (nee McDaniel) Zickafoose. Alice was a graduate of the Ohio State University and an English teacher in Cincinnati, OH, and at Encina HS and San Juan HS in the Sacramento areas (CA) until her retirement in 1976. She also earned a Masters Degree in theater from CSUS. Alice passed away at age 91 and was survived by her son Myron Jr., three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her sister Evelyn Seeger. Alice was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Myron E. Gire, Sr.
