Annalene M. Bays, age 95, of Crossett, AR passed away on September 4, 2012 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was born on October 12, 1916 in Ashley County, AR to her parents, Walter A. and Nettie Smith Murphey. Mrs. Bays had been a sales clerk. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Bays was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Preston Bays.
Survivors include: two sons, Thomas Bays of Baston Rouge, LA, Billy Bays of Crossett, AR; two brothers, Joe Frank Murphy of Crossett, AR, Ben Paul Murphy of Mobile, AL; one sister, Reatha Lee Robinson of Monroe, LA; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery
