Mr. Paul C. Lambert, 84, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hartsville.
Mr. Lambert was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Florence, a son of the late Wesley Cornelius and Nettie Jones Lambert. He was a retired textile employee and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Lambert was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Paul was preceded in death by a son-in-law, the Rev. Vernon Lewis, and by two brothers, and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Therrell Lambert of the home; one son, William W. "Bill" (Gloria) Lambert of Cheraw; two daughters, Paulette Lambert (Robert) Herres of Brandon, Fla., and Shirley Lambert Lewis of Hartsville;
eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
