FLY CREEK - Maynard W. Bunn Sr., 76, of Fly Creek died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1988, in Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Lackawanna.

He was born Aug. 10, 1911, in Cooperstown, the son of Ernest and Florence (Cook) Bunn. He married Frances E. Sweet, who survives.

A long-time employee of National Fuel Co. of Buffalo, he returned to Fly Creek following his retirement, and was employed at Smith-Ford, Cooperstown, from 1978-1985.

Surviving besides his wife , are two sons, Manyard W. Bunn Jr. of West Seneca and David Bunn of Eden; five grandchildren; an aunt; an uncle and several cousins.

Funeral and committal services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in the Ingalls, Connell & Dow Funeral Home, Cooperstown, with the Rev. Clyde W. Petrie, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cooperstown, officiating. Burial will be later in Fly Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, when the family will be in attendance.

Contributions may be made to the Fly Creek Fire Department.
