NORTH AUGUSTA - A graveside service for Walter Morrison Ashcraft, 94, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Denmark Cemetery, Denmark. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home.
Mr. Ashcraft, widower of Mills Abercrombie Ashcraft, died March 25, 2002. Born in Charlotte, he was the son of the late Esther Campbell and David Turner Ashcraft. He retired as Superintendent of Linemen in 21 South Carolina counties.
Surviving are daughter, Mariella Floyd; sister, Elizabeth Godfrey; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
