Thora Matilda was born on 3 Apr 1904 in Lehi, Utah, Utah, the daughter of Morgan Thomas & Alzina (Gilchrist) Woodhouse. She was the first of 9 children. On 18 Jan 1933 she married Herbert Harry Heltzel in Burley, Cassia, Idaho. They had no children(although Herb had a son from a previous marriage). She died on 20 Oct 1961 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon and interment was in Lincoln Memorial Park according to a notice in The Oregonian, 24 Oct 1961 pg. 20.
