BOONEVILLE – Margie T. "Meme" Hatfield, 80, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born Dec, 16, 1931, in Cherokee, Ala. She was a member of Osborne Creek Baptist Church. She retired from General Electric in Chicago, and then worked at Red Kap Industries in West Point. She worked at the Grace Shop in Booneville in recent years. She enjoyed shopping, flowers, and most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jack Ezell officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Memorial Garden.

She is survived by a son, Jim Hatfield of Booneville; two daughters, Martha George (Danny) of Booneville and Wanda Sanford (Robert) of Guntown; three brothers, Larry Trulove (Phyllis) of West Point, Junior Trulove (Okema) of Tupelo and Gary Trulove of Wyoming; two sisters, Runelle Davis of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Carolyn Gwathney (Wayne) of West Point; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Hatfield, on April 2, 2011; her parents, Cortez and Aretha Maxcy Trulove; and two sisters, Shirley Johnston and Kathleen Wagner.

Pallbearers are Jason Hatfield, Richie Sansone, Johnny George, Brad Jones, Vincent Vymola and Mike Coats.
