George H. Belanger, 86, Died Tuesday morning at Bay Medical Facility. Born Nov. 28, 1884 in Evart, Mich., he is survived by his wife Angeline, 3 sons; Renal of Detroit, Nelson of Utica, Mich. and James Belanger of Bay City, a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Georgia) Giezen of Detroit, a brother, Fred Belanger of West Branch, also 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Belanger was a member of the St. Maria Goretti Church and a 60 year member of the Railroad Trainmen. He was retired from the New York Central Railroad after 34 years as a detective for the railroad. He also was a policeman for the City of Bay City. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. at the Squires Funeral Home, 11 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Rosary 8:30 p.m Wednesday.
