Thomas is the son of John Wesley and Mary Louvinia Billingsley Conley. He died at age 16 and is buried close to his grandmother, Leona Elmira Scroggins Conley.

He was the oldest son and when he died, was no longer attending school but was working on the family farm.

Thomas was born in Oil City, Kerrn Co.,CA. His father was in the timber business at that time and they moved a lot so all the children were born various places. However, they mostly seemed to live in Oklahoma. He had several siblings and they are:

Henry Lee Conley 1907 – 1968
Johnie Gertrude Conley 1915 –
Arine Rebecca "Becky" Conley 1918 –
Emalue Conley 1922 – 1922
Andrew Pinkney Conley 1924 –

He is named for his uncle who went by "T.J." Thomas is my 2nd couusin 1x removed. My dad was 5 months older than Buster and was named "Conley Leon Todd" for Buster's grandfather - Samuel Henry Conley, Jr. As I write this I think of them as boys who probably played together growing up. They were family.

Be at peace with your Heavenly Father Buster....
