FAIRBURY -- The funeral of J. David Beckley, 71, who was found dead at his home at 310 E.Chestnut Saturday morning, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 o'clock tonight.
Mr Beckley was born Nov 24, 1904, at Wolcott, Ind., a son of John and Lydia Stoller Beckley. He never married.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Lydia Lois Beckley, Shamel Manor, Normal; two half sisters, Mrs.Helen Gottier, Rockville, Conn.; Mrs. Sharlene Hawley, Grants Pass, Ore.; four half brothers, William Beckley, Bellflower; Warren and Robert Beckley, both of Fairbury; Alden Beckley. San Francisco, Calif.
A sister preceded him in death.
He was a retired artist and an Air Force Veteran of World War II.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Moody Bible Institute or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Please Note: The obit says Graceland - it has been proven by The Fort in Lexington and the caretaker of the Apostolic Christian Cemetery that above person is buried in Apostolic Christian Cemetery which is right next to Graceland.
