On Thursday, August 30, 2012, Eileen F. Aukward, a long time resident of New Carrollton, MD peacefully passed away. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Aukward; mother of Deirdre E. (Pat), Stephen J. (Judy), Mary Anne (Neal), Rita K. (Frank), Monica E. (Tim), Joseph P. (Betty) and Sheila M. (John); sister of Teresa Jackson and Rosalie Gresh; and sister-in-law of Bernadette M. Aukward. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Church, 7301 Annapolis Road, Landover Hills, MD on Tuesday, September 4 from 10 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
