Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today at Griffin Funeral Home for Mrs. Wilene Sheppard, Rt. 1 Purdon, who died in Memorial Hospital from injuries received in a traffic accident Monday morning.
The Rev. W. R. Upton officiated and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. {see notes}
Surviving are her husband, D. E. Sheppard of Purdon; a son, Gary Don Sheppard and a daughter, Kyra Sheppard of Purdon; three brothers, Hubert Farmer of Corsicana, Clifton and Don Farmer of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Orlena Hatley of Fort Worth; her father, C. A. Farmer of Barry.
Pallbearers were A. H. Asby, Cecil Blye, J. H. Leemar, Clyde Cockrell, Jessie Lee Young and Leon Phillips.
