Born in Alabama, Mr. Hammock had lived here for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Alice Hammock; five sons, Robert and Ben Hammock, both of Hickman, Ralph and Brewster Hammock of California and Delbert Hammock of Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Estelle Phipps and Mrs. Sue Brawner of Hickman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at East Hickman Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Burgess and the Rev. Howard Courtney officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
