C. C. BARRON, 91, RETIRED HUNTSVILLE BUSINESSMAN, DIES
Christopher Columbus Barron, 91, retired Huntsville business man, died at 9 o'clock this morning at his home on Library street in Huntsville. He had been ill since sustaining a heart attack a week ago yesterday.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barron, pioneer residents of Randolph County, Mr. Barron had lived in this county all his life. In 1907 he moved from a farm in the Salem neighborhood south of Huntsville, to Huntsville and in 1908 entered the poultry business, retiring in 1921.
He is survived by his wife. They had two children, both of whom preceded him in death, Roy, who died in 1900 at the age of 8 years, and Irene, who died in 1908 at the age of 15.
The body will be at the home until funeral services to be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Patton Funeral Home by the Rev. R. H. Polly, retired Christian minister of Huntsville. Burial will be in Huntsville.
