Catherine Katie 'Caty' Harris was born 6 APR 1819 in Licking Co, Ohio, to John and Catherine Myers Harris, Sr. and died 6 July 1909 in Garfield Co., Oklahoma. She married Ambrose Day 2 August 1835 in Fulton Co., Illinois, son of Laban Day and Eleanor LNU. He died 4 March 1889 in Princeton, Mercer Co., Missouri. Ambrose and Katie had ten children, and took a granddaughter, they raised as a daughter. Her name was Sarahann Susie Sylvanus Day.
After they were married in Illinois; later moved to Princeton, Missouri in 1849, then to Coffeyville, Kansas in the year 1866, and back to Princeton, Mo in 1870. There they lived til his death. Uncle Snowden and Aunt Annie moved a little later to Oklahoma and she lived with them till her death in July 6, 1909. Caty is buried in the Pond Creek Cemetery, Pond Creek, Grant Co., Oklahoma.
