Leora B. Walker, 82, Friedens RD 1, died Nov. 15, 1984, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 21, 1902, in Middlecreek Township, daughter of late Albert and Minnie (King) Barron. Preceded in death by husband, Roy, in 1952; grandson, two brothers and a sister. Survived by three children: Mrs. Dalton (Leona) Miller, Johnstown; Roy E., married to former Phyllis Ling, Buena Park, Calif.; and Wilkis D., married to former Emeline Pyle, Rockwood RD 1; also 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Member of Middlecreek Church of the Brethren. Retired employee of Children's Aid Home. Friends will be received from 3-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Greg Gohn and the Rev. William Hay officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends are requested to send memorials to Middlecreek Church of the Brethren.
