Cleola Beth Grover Chandler, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away on August 29, 2012 at her home. She was under the care of her family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

She was born July 24, 1924, in Rigby, Idaho, to Clarence Grover and Cleah Leavitt Grover. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Idaho Falls High School.

On January 4, 1944 she married James Foster Chandler in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. Her husband preceded her in death on December 2, 2004. She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and piano teacher.

Beth was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings throughout her life. She was an organist and an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was proud to be a missionary and shared the Gospel with many throughout her life.

She enjoyed quilting, painting, singing with the Rigby Chansonettes, and acting in many Twenty-fourth of July Productions. She especially loved her family and spending time with them.

Beth's family would like to give a special thanks to the Aspen Hospice gals: Monica, Jessica, Bethany and Stephanie, and many others, for making her last year more enjoyable.

She is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth Ann (Robert) Moore, of Gilbert, AZ, and Saundra (Reed) Perkes, of Taylorsville, UT; sons: James (Sylvia) Chandler and Lyle (Nancy) Chandler, both of Idaho Falls; 27 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Leavitt (Annette) Grover, of Kennewick, WA

She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Baby Boy Chandler; a brother, Thomas Grover; sisters-in-law, Anna Grover and Joan Grover; a daughter-in-law, Debra Chandler; and a grandson, Brad Moore.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS 18th Ward (1200 Dunbar Drive) with Bishop Cloyd Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls and on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
