Keith B. Mountain, 81, of Venice, FL and Pilot Knob, NY passed away December 31, 2011. Mr. Mountain was born in Honolulu, HI on January 1, 1930. He attended Iolani Episcopal School and Punahou Academy, both in Honolulu, earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Colgate University, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, and he attended the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. His education prepared him for his career as a manager for the Sandy Hill Corporation. Mr. Mountain served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War before being transferred to NATO forces in Europe as a Navigator and Bombardier aboard jet bombers. He retired as a Colonel from the Air Force Reserves after a total of 24 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife Barbara Woodell Mountain, Keith is survived by his life partner Sandy Chamberlin, son Kirk and his wife Melissa of San Francisco, CA, daughter Liza Lee and her husband Jim of Greensboro, NC, grandchildren Sydney & Sawyer Mountain and Tristan, Garrett & Russell Lee, and sister Joyce Pickett.
