HYDE - Reath L. Bryan, 86, of Hyde died Friday, June 19, 2009, at her home.
Born March 11, 1923, at Clearfield, she was a daughter of David and Nora J. (Price) Johnston.
She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.
Mrs. Bryan had been employed at a department store in Niagara Falls, N.Y., prior to her marriage and then spent her life as a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William J. Bryan of Clearfield, who she wed Feb. 21, 1944, and a daughter, Joy E. Bryan of Clearfield.
Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis J. Bryan; three sisters, Bethel Kline, Emma Kepahart and Bessie Etzweiler; and two brothers, Russell and Eddie Johnston.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. Robert Mellgard officiating.
Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, June 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 23, from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
