George S. Burton, 64, died at his residence on West Point R. 1 Saturday at 10:60 a.m. Born July 3, 1890, in the home where he died, he was a farmer all his life. In 1921 he married Mary H. Tengen. She survives with one son, Charles G.Burton, West Point R. 1, and his stepmother, Mrs. Laura Burton of Clearwater, Fla. Mr. Burton was a veteran at World war I overseas service and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a past master of Shawnee Lodge 129 of Free and Accepted Masons and had been & member of the lodge 43 years. He had been ileight months.
