Ralph Leslie Chapman, 76, of Gorham NH, passed away on June 21, 2007, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born in Stratford NH on March 23, 1931, the son of Leslie and Mary (Ball) Chapman. He lived in Gorham for the past 50 years. He had been employed by Royal Crown Beverage, St. Johnsbury Trucking for 23 years, Ken Corrigan Excavating, and lastly as a merchandiser for Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was Past Commander of the Dupont-Holmes Post #82 American Legion and member of the Gorham Planning Board, and he loved his work.

(Savard) Chapman of Gorham; sons Charles Chapman and wife Debra of Virginia Beach VA, Chester Chapman of Quincy MA, Michael Chapman and wife Nona of Berwyn IL, and Kevin Chapman and wife Krystal of Berlin NH; daughter Sheila Welch and husband Keith of Gorham; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Eugene Chapman and wife Ruby of North Haverhill NH; sisters Wilma Nelson and husband David of Milan NH, and Norma Borusiewicz of Naugatuck CT; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his first wife Patricia (Davis) Chapman; son Ralph Leslie Chapman, Jr.; and brother Edward Chapman.
