James Hyram Humbert of 1859 Remount road, North Charleston, a truck driver for the City of North Charleston, died Thursday in a local hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a. m. Saturday at Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 3 p. m. in Denmark Cemetery, Denmark.
Mr. Humbert was born Aug. 23, 1921, at St. Stephen, a son of the late Jesse Gordon Humbert and Mrs. Edna Loretta Humbert. He was a member of Park Circle Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, Mrs. Annie Ruth Judy Humbert, are: a daughter, Miss Edna Loretta Humbert of North Charleston; a son, Christopher Joseph Humbert of North Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Jones of Ware Shoals, and Mrs. Lillian Smith of Rock Hill; five brothers, Walter Humbert, Leroy Humbert and Henry Humbert, all of New York, N. Y., Charles E. Humbert of Ware Shoals, and John G. Humbert of North Charleston.
